Visitors

I love when I have "yard visitors". I can open my windows and hear them sing. I love watching them too! So the other day I was sewing and noticed a few visitors outside so I grabbed my camera and took a few photos.
The yellow/black birds are so pretty. They were really little and flew around fast.
(sorry I really don't know what they are called.....except birds! lol)

This little cutie came right up to my window.
Oops I think I was spotted!

Wow! Great photos! How did you manage to take those shots without startling the birds?

Keep smiling =D

I have only seen these yellow and black birds once near my home here in MD. And man was it breif! I ran in to grab my camera, cam back out and they were gone.

Hi Debra, Your pretty yellow birds are Goldfinches. The females are more of an olive yellow color and the males are bright yellos.

The other bird is a Chipping Sparrow... Isn't he pretty???

Have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy

My bird brain is totally loving visiting your blog today :). My husband is forever telling me I have a bitty bird brain because I have this fascination with birds that has caused him to pull off many a freeway for photos to be taken :)
