The first part of the week I wasn't feeling to well. I wasn't sick, I just didn't feel good...you know...the blah kinda mood. I wasn't sleeping good at night and I haven't yet had a full night of sleep. For some reason I would wake up around 2 am and be WIDE awake until around 3:30 am. That drove me crazy!!! Then I would sleep during the day so that's pretty much why I wasn't posting like I wanted....I was sleeping!
Then Yesterday my Dad was hit by a drunk driver. He wasn't hurt and his truck didn't get much damage. BUT what makes me mad is that the driver didn't stop......so my dad followed him until the driver got home. The driver ran into the house so my dad called the police and when the police got there, they arrested the man for hit and run/driving drunk. Luckily his headlight broke and pieces of it was still in my dad's truck so that was proof that he was the one that hit him. It makes me so mad that people choose to drive drunk!
Today I was out in the garden and I spotted this cutie! Can't wait until it turns red....I am ready for a tomato sandwich....yes...I am from the South!! I love a tomato and bacon sandwich with mayo!!! Good stuff.

Dont they have a term for drunk driving?!! Cant beleive people still do this kind of stuff.
I hate people who drive drunk! I am happy to hear it was not a serious accident.
Yummy tomatoes fresh off the vine. I love tomato, bacon with mayo on toasted bread. Summer and fresh fruits and veggies = the best time of year!!
I'm glad you are better. I'm also glad your daddy is okay. That driver is lucky to be okay if your daddy followed him home. You are right about drunk drivers...if you want to be stupid, be stupid to yourself...don't endanger innocent people. They are just going about their lives...

My tomatoes are green too. I am keeping a watchful eye and the first red one is MINE. I add a little basil to my sandwiches and it add zing. Try it sometime when the tomatoes get ripe. Is it me or is it taking them longer this year to rippen. Peace
