Yard Friend

So Sunday we discover that we have a new yard friend......a white pigeon. He (I think) has a blue band around his foot but it doesn't have any letters or numbers on it. I did a little research and found out that owners normally tag them, Red or pink tags mean a girl, and blue mean a male so that's why I call him a "he". I also read that sometimes white pigeons are released at weddings instead of doves. I do know that there was a large outdoor wedding about 20 mins away from our house on Saturday evening......makes me think it's from there. He isn't shy, and my husband ALMOST feed him out of his hand. He just walks around and now he likes to sit on top of our house.
