On the 1st we lost our beautiful and lovable cat name Push Up. He passed away quietly and my husband found him under his barn. We knew something wasn't right that morning because he acted like he didn't feel good, and wouldn't eat. We aren't sure what happen to him but kinda think he got bitten by something. He loved playing in the fields behind our house and my husband has seen a few black widows this summer. But we are still unsure. Our daughter was gone over to a sleep over this weekend so we had to tell her when she got home. It was so hard and she just cried. We all cried! Push up was not only beautiful to us but a great furry friend. If we went outside he would follow us everywhere, loved walking through the garden, loved to go in the barn with my hubby and sleep on his table in his favorite spot....a little area where the sun would shine in. If I sat on the swing he would jump up and lay beside me. You couldn't rub him enough.
I still find myself walking to the back door to see if he is laying on the porch. It's lonely outside now......!
Here's a few favorite pics of him:
What a face!
Playing in the tree

My daughter thinks he looks like he was laughing in the photo.

Sweet boy! Sleeping
cat yoga.....
Another favorite spot he loved to sleep at.
Push Up you will be missed and loved forever!!

Yes, I'm a cat lover, too. I'm sorry for your loss.
Cats are just people in fur coats, so says my sister and she is right.

I am really sorry to learn about your lost. Unconditional love comes from our pets and they make our lives better. After our big lab died, I told Prince we needed to wait for awhile to get another pet. Within two weeks, I was looking for another lab. She is the best dog yet and I am glad I did not wait longer. Peace

It looks like your family has many wonderful memories of Push Up... I wish I could stretch half as good as an animal... Great photos.

I'm a new reader of your blog and had to comment about Push-Up..I'm sorry for your loss! I had an orange tabby, named Missy, who died several years ago now but he was my baby..he was 18 when he died and it was so difficult.

Hugs to you and your family,
Ellie
